WE BELIEVE in the one true and eternal God, creator of the universe and author of all life. We believe that man is made in the image of God and was created to enjoy intimate, personal relationship with God. We believe God reveals His nature, will and intentions through the Holy Bible, the testimony of people through the ages and through signs and wonders even today. We believe God exists in the unity of three persons; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, lived a sinless life obedient to the will of His heavenly Father, demonstrated the power of God here on earth, died a substitutionary death for all believers, was buried and resurrected on the third day in bodily form.
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is the power of God given to all believers and that all of the gifts given by the Holy Spirit are still for today. We believe that we are to fulfill the Great Commandment (Luke 10:27) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-18). We believe it is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled to minister on behalf of Jesus in signs and wonders. We believe that we are compelled to seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit and to be continually filled in order to live a life of permanent transformation.
WE BELIEVE in the inherent goodness and kindness of God and that the old covenant of the law has been superseded by a new covenant of grace through the ministry of Jesus Christ. We believe that God is in a good mood and that His mercy and grace are extended to all who choose to access it through faith in His Son, Jesus. We believe that the age of grace extends until the second coming of Jesus Christ at which time He will judge the living and the dead and until that time judgement has been suspended.
WE BELIEVE it is God’s desire for man to live an abundant life. We believe the action of man has brought sin into the world and that sin separates us from God. It is only through the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we are set free from the curse of sin and reconciled to God. We believe that all people are guilty of sin and have fallen short of the glory of God. We believe that it is not by our works but by God’s grace that we receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. We believe that salvation comes only to those who repent of their sin and accept the free gift of forgiveness provided by Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE we are living in a revival culture and it is our responsibility as the church to change the spiritual atmosphere of our region bringing heaven to earth. We believe this is accomplished through a covenant relationship with Christ and each other lived out in the authentic church.
WE BELIEVE in the existence of evil personified by Satan and his demons and that believers are given authority over Satan through the power of Christ. It is the right and responsibility of every Christian to exercise this power through fasting and prayer and resisting of the enemy in our personal lives and through the ministry of the church.
WE BELIEVE that baptism is for believers only and that water baptism by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord. It is the outward symbol of the inward change that occurs when we receive Christ into our lives. We believe the Lord’s Supper (communion) is the reminder of Christ’s sacrifice for us and the right and responsibility of every believer.
